ABOUT THE ARTOMOBILIA
The Carmel Artomobilia was established in 2008 by a group of car collectors and automotive enthusiasts, partnering with the City of Carmel and the Carmel Arts & Design District, to celebrate automotive art and design in an distinctive venue that provides an desirable backdrop of shopping, fine dinning and art merchants. The greater Indianapolis metro-area boasts an distinct heritage of early automotive innovation, and the Artomobilia seeks to build on this foundation by presenting high-quality collector and enthusiast cars from 1908 to the present for the public to enjoy and appreciate.
Years later, the quality, scope and scale of the Artomobilia has continued to grow and as the event hosts nationally recognized sponsors, speakers, more than 750 car collectors, 400 vehicles and nearly 10,000 visitors. The Artomobilia is scheduled each year on the weekend prior to Labor Day Weekend. In 2014, the Carmel Artomobilia with be held on Saturday, August 23rd from 11:00am to 5:00pm EST.
The Artomobilia is a formalized, all-volunteer organization comprised of 25+ board and committee members that are responsible, along with our partners, for recruiting, reviewing, communicating, photographing, financing and hosting our entrants, volunteers, sponsors and visitors to assure an unmatched, interactive experience across the 40 judged classes and car corrals.
